APARTMENT FACILITIES

All apartments offer individually controlled reverse cycle air conditioning/heating units allowing you to regulate the apartment temperature for your own comfort. The remote control is located on the wall in each apartment.
To operate, press the ON button. To select the desired temperature, use the UP and DOWN arrows.
Please make sure ALL DOORS ARE CLOSED as there is a sensor which will turn off the air conditioning if doors are not closed all the way.
Ensure your room key is placed in the slot by the door to activate power. Please turn off the air conditioning when leaving your apartment.

TROUBLESHOOTING:
Is a room card placed in the power slot at the entrance of the apartment? Unit will not operate without power
Is your balcony door completely shut? There is a sensor on the door and the unit will not work if the door is even slightly open
If in the 1-Bedroom apartment - do you have the units on the same temperature? The units come from the same compressor on the roof,, so must be on the same temperature
If COOLING, you must have the Snow flake symbol set. If HEATING, you must have the Sun symbol set
If you’ve pressed the control buttons multiple times, we may need to reset the compressor

The alarm clock is located on the bedside table. A radio is built into your alarm clock. If you require assistance, please contact Reception by dialling 9.

We recommend that you keep your balcony doors locked for security when you are not in the apartment and also at night time.
Please do not leave balcony doors open whilst the air conditioner or heater is on - this will automatically make them inoperable.

A USB charging point is located at the rear of the alarm clock on the bedside table.
For your convenience, 1 and 2 bedroom apartments have a USB point located at the study desk.

Coffee and tea making facilities are available in your kitchen and are replenished daily, with the exception of Sundays and Public Holidays. Should you require replacement stocks, please contact Reception by dialling 9.
All 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments have a Nespresso Essenza Mini with daily replenishments of Pods. Additional pods can be purchased from reception.

WI-FI CONNECTION
Complimentary WI-FI internet access for basic use is provided.
Connect to the WIFI signal ‘Quest South Perth Wi-Fi’ and the login page will launch.
Enter the registered Guest Surname and Room Number to connect.
TV WI-FI CONNECTION
If internet connection on your TV is not working, follow these steps:
1. Go to settings (look for cog wheel)
2. Press 'Network' (purple icon)
3. Press 'WI-FI connections'
4. Press 'QTV' and enter Password - 97979797

To Operate the Cook Top:
Select the desired setting by turning the dial for the plate you wish to use. Please note an HOB isolator switch is located in the splashback, please ensure this is switched on prior to use.
To Operate the Range Hood:
Pull the range hood towards you. The fan speed and lights are controlled via buttons on both the left and right-hand sides of the range hood.
To Operate the Oven:
Turn the dial to the desired temperature. The oven indicator light will come on. Adjust the timer to the desired cooking time. The oven will turn off when the timer stops.

A DISHWASHING POWDER SACHET is located in the cupboard under the sink in the kitchen.
To operate the dishwasher
Load the dishwasher with soiled crockery and cutlery. Place the dishwashing powder into the dispenser on the inside of the door and close the dishwasher door. Turn the dishwasher on and then select the program you wish to run by using dials on the outside of the door.

The hairdryer is located in the vanity cupboard of each bathroom.

An iron and ironing board are located inside the wardrobe of your apartment. To turn on, turn dial clockwise and select the desired fabric. Please ensure the iron is turned off when not in use.

Please do not use metal utensils in the microwave. Place food in a microwave safe dish. Select the time required and power setting, then press “START”.
Please Note: all crockery provided in your room is microwave safe. Splatter lids are located in all apartments for use.

Billing
All local calls are $0.80 per call. Interstate and international calls are billed at house pulse rates.
Dialling an apartment from inside the property
To call another apartment ending in ‘A’, please dial the apartment number. For example, to call apartment 101A, dial 101.
For apartments ending with the letter ‘B’ add 50 to the apartment number. For example, to call apartment 101B, dial 151.
To make an outside call
You can dial direct for all local, interstate and international calls. To make an outside call, please dial ‘0’ first before dialling the designated number.
Dialling Interstate (STD) or International (IDD) numbers
For calls outside Western Australia and within Australia; Dial ‘0’ for an outside line. Dial the relevant STD code then dial the number required.

Your apartment features a SMART television in the living area that has been programmed to receive all digital free to air channels available.
You can activate your TV by pressing the red ‘Power’ button on your remote control. To select a channel, use the up/down ‘P’ arrows to move through each option of both free to air and Foxtel channels.
To access your preferred Online Streaming Channels account (Netflix, Stan, Amazon etc.), press the ‘RECENTS’ button, and use your personal logins. Please note, Quest South Perth Foreshore does not provide Online Streaming Channel logins. To keep your account private, please remember to logout from your accounts. Should you experience any difficulty in accessing channels, please contact Reception by dialling 9.

A washing machine and clothes dryer are provided in the One, Two and Three Bedroom Apartments. There are also complimentary laundry facilities on the second floor for the use of all guests, particularly those in Studio Apartments.
WASHING LIQUID is provided in your apartment, additional liquid is available from Reception.
Please Note: Front loading washing machines only require half of each sachet contents.
For Dry Cleaning Services, please refer to the ‘DRY CLEANING’ section of the ‘Accommodation Services’ chapter in this compendium.
To operate the front-loading Washing Machine:
- Open the door and load clothes into the machine drum
- Open washing machine detergent drawer and empty one half of sachet (LIQUID) contents into the left hand side compartment and close drawer
- Press the on/off button
- Using the program selection dial, choose the appropriate cycle for your laundry
- Press the start/pause button to start the program
To operate the Dryer:
- Load clothes into dryer and close door firmly
- Select the required temperature and time by turning the dial clockwise
- Push the start/pause button on the condenser dryer
